New Time Keep Application

Members of the Alumni were introduced to a new Time Keep Application in March, that will allow individuals to enter their own volunteer time.

Brad Heimerl a reserve deputy in the Sheriff's Office, set up the system for the Alumni and is in the process of teaching Board Members on how to use it. Once the Board members are trained then the members will be trained how to use it. The new system will allow each individual to enter their own volunteer time at their convenience using a pc, laptop or smart phone.

Evelyn Varrasso and Diana Cunningham are Administrators of the system and will be able to monitor everyones time as they enter it. Those members who do not have access to pc's or smartphones will have their time entered for them by one of the administrators.

Alumni Judge CTEC Criminal Justice Students

Alumni members were invited to CTEC on February 24, 2018, to judge Criminal Justice students on the skills they have learned in their field. Students from all over the state were competing with each other in all the various fields CTEC has to offer.

It was amazing to see the skills these future law enforcement students have learned already and are only high school seniors. Lots of pressure was on as theses students as they competed in Finger Printing, Terry Stops, Traffic Stops, Crime Scene Investigation, Uniform Inspections and PT test.

Commander Candace Collins, Criminal Justice Instructor CTEC, has done an outstanding job with this program and we are saddened to learn this was to be the last Skills Competition at the Newark location.

Members assisting with the competition were: Donna Lescallect, LaVergne Pabian, Heather Byers, Dave Geiger, Dottie Kearton, Joyce Weber, Don Robertson, Diana and Jim Cunningham and Evelyn Varrasso.
